The kygsp.org website is for the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, a state sponsored summer residential program for rising Kentucky high school juniors. The Governor’s Scholars Program, INC, provides the website, Online Alumni Association, and any other features, functions or content is hereby referred to as “website.”

These terms of use constitute a binding agreement between the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, INC and you that governing the use of the website. By using the website, you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this agreement, whether you use the website to post your own information or to view information posted by other people.

The Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, INC, reserves the right to change the terms of use at any time. Your continued use of the website after the Governor’s Scholars Program, INC, will mean that you agree to the terms of use as modified. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age or older to register as a member of the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Online Alumni Association. If you are under the age of 16, you are not permitted to register for the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Online Alumni Association. In order to register for the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Online Alumni Association you must meet at least one the following criteria: Successfully completed and identified as a Kentucky Governor’s Scholar; a current or former Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program staff or faculty; or by explicit written permission of the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, INC. Membership is void where prohibited by law. By using the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program Online Alumni Association, you agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions. The Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, INC, may terminate your membership or prohibit you from accessing any portion of the website for any reason, at any time.

Non-commercial use

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the website solely in accordance with the terms of use and solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

Member Conduct

By using the website, you understand that materials of any kind submitted through your account will infringe upon the rights of any third parties. Infringement includes copyright, privacy, trademark, publicity, or other personal rights; or contribute defamatory or libelous materials. You agree not to collect email addresses or other information from users of the website with the purpose to send unsolicited communications. By using the website, you agree not to:

Password

When using the Online Alumni Association, you are asked to create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party except a parent or guardian. You will hold the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, INC, harmless for any damage arising from a third party accessing the Service using the password you disclosed.
